FedEx, through its subsidiary TNT Australia, has signed a new six-year deal with air freight carrier Qantas Freight to add more capacity to meet growing domestic demand in the midst of rapid e-commerce and online shopping. DHL has started the global distribution of life-saving vaccines, with the first batch of Pfizer doses for Israel arriving at Ben Gurion International Airport on 9 December. Cathay recertified for pharma cargo in time for vaccine roll-out
Cathay Pacific Cargo’s community at Hong Kong airport is now re-certified under IATA’s CEIV Pharma accreditation as integrators and airlines start to transport the initial doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
