Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has good reason to celebrate as the airport unlocked its 1 million tonne milestone for cargo moved in 2021. The air hub, based in North Texas, announced the feat at the 2022 TIACA Executive Summit in San Francisco in end-March, attributing it to ongoing shifts in the global supply chain, including the shift from ocean to air freight. Incheon Airport takes runnerup as 2nd busiest cargo airport

Incheon International Airport moved up a notch to become the second busiest cargo airport in 2021, according to airport trade body Airports Council International (ACI) World. The airport, located some 40 kilometres west of Seoul, handled 3.23 million tonnes of international cargo last year, up 18.6 percent from 2020. Swissport buys Liege handler to add capacity in Belgium

Swissport International is adding more capacity at top air cargo hubs in Europe with the full acquisition of Belgium Airport Services (BAS) and an additional facility at Schiphol Airport. Budapest Airport eyes cargo boost with TIACA membership

Budapest Airport is looking to become a key cargo player within central and eastern Europe and has joined The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) as a trustee member. Hong Kong’s air cargo grows half-a-quarter in 2021

Hong Kong airport’s latest figures showed resilient cargo performance over the last year as 2021 volume jumped 12.5 percent year on year to 5 million tonnes.
