Liege Airport continues its growth trajectory in the first half of 2026 with a growth of more than 11% in air cargo tonnages and strengthens its position as a reference air cargo hub in Europe. Liege Airport reports a solid first quarter in 2026, confirming the momentum observed in 2025. Over the first three months of the year 2026, the cargo airport recorded significant growth both in aircraft movements (+7%) and transported volumes (+16%). Liège Airport cargo volumes surge 18.6% in early 2026
After a historic year in 2025, Liege Airport (LGG) starts 2026 with a bang! For January and February, cumulated freight volumes increased by 18,6% compared to the same period last year, reaching 219.807 tons.
