Liege Airport exceeds one million tons of freight by the end of September 2026 despite the impact of the tax on small parcels
During the third quarter of 2026, Liege Airport handled 334,467 tons of freight, a figure virtually identical to that recorded during the same period in 2025 (334,950 tons). At the same time, the number of aircraft movements stood at 6,826, compared with 7,261 in the third quarter of 2025, representing a 6 per cent decrease. Liege Airport posts 11% cargo growth in H1 as exports to Asia and North America surge
Liege Airport continues its growth trajectory in the first half of 2026 with a growth of more than 11% in air cargo tonnages and strengthens its position as a reference air cargo hub in Europe.
