Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, has won a three-year contract extension with Air China Cargo in Liège, supported by its reputation for fast and efficient handling of e-commerce shipments moving through the Belgian airport. Liege Airport reports robust Q2 growth, up 14.5%
Liege Airport confirms its leading role in European air freight. In Q2 (April, May and June), the airport handled 330,184 tons of cargo, up 14,5% on the same period in 2024 (288,298 tons). In terms of movements, 7,120 cargo flights were operated, up 7,7% on Q2 of 2024 (6,609 cargo flights).
