Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced the annual traffic figures for Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB), which show a healthy cargo growth of 5.4 per cent, year-on-year in 2015 to reach a total volume of 287,198 tonnes last year. Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS), a joint venture between Air India and Singapore Airport Terminal Services, will have a 40,000-tonne per annum capacity perishable cargo handling centre 'AISATS Coolport' up and running at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in the next 12 months.
