Beginning with the summer timetable (27 March), Lufthansa Cargo will market the belly capacity of Eurowings’ long-haul flights and makes Eurowings the third passenger airline whose belly capacities are marketed by Lufthansa Cargo. Swiss WorldCargo and Lufthansa Cargo have announced a rejigging of their pricing structure, but opting not to take the all-in rate route that a number of airlines have moved to. The duo said that as of 25 October 2015 the pricing of both airlines will consist of two components: A net rate and an 'Airfreight Surcharge' which will see overall pricing remaining the same. LH Cargo appoints new board member
Alexis von Hoensbroech has been appointed new board member products & sales of Lufthansa Cargo. This means the supervisory board of the cargo airline has opted for an internal Lufthansa candidate to succeed Andreas Otto.
