"Shark in the sky!": The first Austrian Airlines Boeing 777-200ER equipped with the innovative AeroSHARK surface technology has successfully completed its maiden flight. Austrian Airlines will be the first airline globally to equip their Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with innovative “AeroSHARK” surface technology. On a total of four Boeing 777-200ERs the fuselage and engine nacelles will be covered with the “sharkskin” film developed by Lufthansa Technik and the company BASF. Vienna Airport, Lufthansa team up on pharma shipments
As part of a cooperation, Vienna Airport will now handle all pharma shipments transported by Austrian Airlines for Lufthansa Cargo at its GDP-certified pharma handling center or VPHC. The airport said the cooperation further establishes Austria’s international airport as a strong pharma hub for central and eastern Europe.
