Gebrüder Weiss drafts largest freighter for project cargo
It took a project cargo from China to Poland for Austrian logistics provider Gebrüder Weiss to deploy the world's largest cargo plane, the Antonov An-225. The freight forwarder chartered the giant freighter, which landed for the first time at Rzeszów airport in Poland on the evening of November 13 after it left the Chinese airport of Tianjin a day earlier. Antonov’s AN-22 moves urgent cargo for deep-sea pipeline repair
Kiev-based Antonov Airlines using its AN-22 aircraft delivered a 30-tonne container with winches and equipment from Orstend to Instanbul on 12 August, a press release confirmed. The cargo was ordered for repair works on a deepwater pipeline between Turkey and Cyprus.
