15 more B777 freighters for FedEx
Federal Express announced recently that its FedEx Express unit exercised options from a 2006 purchase agreement, to buy 15 more Boeing 777 freighters, worth US$3.75 billion at list prices. UPS adds domestic service in 16 countries
UPS began offering domestic express pickup and delivery services inside 16 additional countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America from 7 January, bringing the total number of countries with domestic service to 45. FedEx to cancel Okay Air contract
FedEx Express, the world’s largest express delivery company, is to end its contract with troubled Okay Airways, opting instead for Yangtze River Express, a cargo airline controlled by HNA Group, to maintain its domestic express air network.
