DHL Express greets first 777F under SIA partnership
DHL Express has welcomed the arrival of its new 102-tonne-capable Boeing 777 freighter at Changi Airport in Singapore, sporting a dual DHL-Singapore Airlines (SIA) livery to indicate a partnership with the flag carrier. FedEx launched eight new flights from Clark Airport in the Philippines last week, 13 July, as the express operator continues to add capacity amidst rising demand in intra-Asia trade. Cathay Pacific brings back full freighter schedule
Big news for this month for Cathay Pacific, as the Hong Kong airline resumed its full freighter schedule with around 90 to 100 freighters each week. Tom Owen, cargo director, said it will operate 35 transpacific freighters a week for the Americas and a daily freighter service to Europe. FedEx Express has upgraded its freight services for more shipments and shortened transit time in Asia Pacific, with a newly deployed ‘Purple Tail’ 767 freighter in its operations from Bangkok.
