Australia Post delivers record revenue on e-commerce
Australia Post last week announced record group revenue of $8.27 billion for FY21, up 10.3 percent, and a profit before tax of $100.7 million. The company's revenue was boosted by continued growth in e-commerce, with strong parcel growth. ESR Australia to buy logistics assets portfolio for US$3b
Hong Kong-listed logistics real estate group ESR has agreed to purchase the largest Australia logistics portfolio of US-based fund manager Blackstone to the tune of A$3.8 billion (US$3 billion). Australia Post announced this week that Paul Graham will be the next group CEO and managing director of the company starting September. Australia Post along with Qantas is set to launch a dedicated domestic freighter network for StarTrack, a subsidiary that provides e-commerce-driven, parcel delivery and supply chain solutions for local, international and online businesses.
