Austrian Airlines will be the first airline globally to equip their Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with innovative “AeroSHARK” surface technology. Vienna Airport, Lufthansa team up on pharma shipments
As part of a cooperation, Vienna Airport will now handle all pharma shipments transported by Austrian Airlines for Lufthansa Cargo at its GDP-certified pharma handling center or VPHC. The airport said the cooperation further establishes Austria’s international airport as a strong pharma hub for central and eastern Europe. After several postponements due to the dynamic market situation, Austrian Airlines will once again fly to Shanghai from 2 October, a press release confirmed. Lufthansa Cargo rides out a challenging year 2% up
Lufthansa Cargo again maintained its leading position in Europe last year, with a total of 1.6 million tonnes of freight and mail flown and 8.4 billion revenue tonne-kilometres sold.
