Emirates SkyCargo has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777 Freighter, making it the second carrier to begin operating the newest generation freighter on the market, after Air France-KLM Cargo took delivery of its first in late February. European safety body certifies B777F
Boeing's 777 Freighter has received its formal stamp of approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). EASA validated the US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) 3 February type certification of the 777 Freighter. The certification formally recognises that the aircraft has passed the stringent design and testing requirements mandated by FAA and EASA, clearing the airplane for cargo service.
