GEODIS names new managing director in Vietnam
Logistics service provider GEODIS has announced the appointment of Simon Vandekerckove as country managing director in Vietnam. He replaces Alan Miu, who held the post for 18 months. In the latest series of management changes circulating the aviation industry, IAG announced that British Airways' Alex Cruz will step down as CEO but will remain as the airline’s non-executive chairman. Cruz, who took the job in April 2016, will be replaced by Aer Lingus CEO Sean Doyle. American Airlines to relocate to new Beijing airport in March 2021
American Airlines will move its flight operations to the new Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), considered the world’s biggest airport, when service returns from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) on 27 March 2021. Hong Kong still busiest air cargo hub as virus depletes H1 volume
Hong Kong International Airport retained its position as the world’s busiest air cargo hub, despite seeing cargo volume drop 10.6 percent compared to the first half of last year, data from Airports Council International (ACI World) revealed.
