Boeing completes carbon brake testing
Boeing announced it has recently completed certification testing of new carbon brakes designed for the Next-Generation 737 airplane family by French supplier Messier-Bugatti. Boeing will submit the test results to the US Federal Aviation Administration for certification the second quarter this year. Entry into production is expected by third quarter. New Siemens handling systems for TACT
Siemens Mobility has been selected by Taiwan Air Cargo Terminal Ltd (TACT) as it moves to expand its cargo facilities at Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Siemens was awarded a contract to equip the existing cargo centre at Taipei Airport with a modern material handling system and to construct a new handling system for the air cargo terminal at Kaohsiung Airport.
