TNT Post forms strategic partnership
TNT Post, the UK arm of Dutch mail group TNT NV said it has formed a strategic partnership with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) to offer postal services to its members. BRC members will be able to use TNT Post's two-day service for pre-sorted mail with Britain's Royal Mail continuing to carry out the final mile delivery to customers' homes. Chronopost launches new B2C service
The French post office's express distribution arm, Chronopost, has launched a pick-up service for parcels, Chrono Relais, which utilises a network of 3,000 French high street tobacconists. Each of the tobacconists outlets serves as a Chrono Relais pick-up point with more than 70 percent of them open from Monday to Sunday morning between 7.30am and 7.30pm.
