Air cargo volume back to pre-Covid levels after 10 months
Air cargo volumes have recovered to pre-Covid volume levels in February, perhaps an unprecedented feat in just 10 months, according to latest data from industry analysts CLIVE Data Services and TAC Index. For the four weeks of February, chargeable weight was down 1 percent compared to February 2019 and up 2 percent compared to the same month last year. New alliance eyes ‘reset’ for Europe-Australia air freight
Recently formed Wholesale by Vels and established Australian wholesaler Consol Alliance have entered into a strategic partnership to disrupt the air cargo business on the Europe-Australia route. Singapore’s YCH Group has been selected to develop a logistics complex in Phnom Penh (PPLC) at a virtual signing ceremony on 4 March, together with Cambodia’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
