Cargo-in-cabin flights beyond 31 July are set to cease across the Europe Union, according to a recent announcement from the EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The agency has determined that the exemptions delivered in this context will not be extended from August of this year. Virgin Atlantic to expand cargo-only services in Italy
Virgin Atlantic Cargo will start operating cargo-only flights twice a week between London Heathrow and Milan’s Malpensa Airport on 12 September, a press release confirmed. The carrier will offer up to 50 tonnes of cargo capacity each way between London and Milan using its Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft.
