No green shoots for Europe’s carriers
Latest figures from the Association of European Airlines cast doubt on the idea that the industry is seeing green shoots of recovery. European airlines saw their cargo volumes fell 20.7 per cent in June compared to last year, according to the Association of European Airlines (AEA). TAIWAN: EVA Air sees cargo revenue plunge 51%
Taiwanese carrier EVA Air saw its cargo revenue plunge 51 per cent in the first half of this year as falling Asian exports sliced the carrier’s freight traffic by nearly a third.
