Cathay Pacific Group reported HK$9.9 billion (US$1.3 billion) in net loss for the first six months as the carrier felt the impact of Covid-19, with group chairman Patrick Healy describing the half-year period as the most challenging in its 70-year history. The two airline s carried 170,476 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 12.8% compared to the same month last year. The cargo and mail load factor rose by 4.0 percentage points to 68.3%.
