Cathay Pacific Airways today released combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for October 2015 showing growth in both the number of passengers carried and the amount of cargo and mail uplifted compared to the same month in 2014. Boeing and Cathay Pacific Airways celebrated the delivery of the airline's 70th 777 aircraft – also the last and 53rd 777-300ER of its confirmed orders – that has made Cathay Asia's largest operator of the B777 fleet. Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair released traffic figures for August 2015 showing only a slight increase in the volume of cargo and mail uplifted compared to the same month last year, while passenger numbers grew 8.5 per cent.
