Cathay, Dragonair April cargo traffic up 5.2%
Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 144,579 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 5.2 per cent compared to the same month last year. The cargo and mail load factor fell by 0.5 percentage points to 62.6 per cent. Cathay reports 28.8% growth in Feb cargo tonnage
Cathay Pacific Airways recorded double-digit growth in cargo in February. The company’s two airlines, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, together carried 130,467 tonnes of cargo last month, a year-on-year increase of 28.8 per cent, though less than the 147,275 tonnes carried in January. Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair combined carried 165,102 tonnes of cargo and mail in November, an increase of 12 per cent compared to the same month last year. Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair have reported carrying 146,955 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 19.7 per cent compared to August 2013.
