Europe Feb freight traffic up 2.9%
European airport trade body, ACI Europe released its traffic report for February. The report is the only air transport report which includes all types of civil aviation passenger flights: full service, low cost and charter. It reveals that freight traffic across the European airport network – an established bellwether of economic performance – was up +2.9 per cent. Aircraft movements were up +1.4 per cent. CAL Cargo starts weekly flights to Larnaca
CAL Cargo Airlines has initiated two independent weekly cargo flights to Larnaca (LCA), replacing the cargo division of Cyprus Airways. The announcement came during CAL's Global GSA Conference taking place this week in Belgium. For the past four years, CAL has serviced the Cyprus market as an arm of Cyprus Airways.
