IAG Cargo charters flights to rev up the auto industry

IAG Cargo automotive charters speed ahead, indicating global revival in vehicle manufacturing

Since the start of the year, IAG Cargo has transported over 8,000 tonnes of automotive spare parts, with a signification proportion of shipments delivered via charter flights. IAG Cargo, the cargo division of British Airways parent IAG, has announced a return of its direct service from the UK to South Korea. IAG Cargo to operate Iberia’s first A330 ‘preighter’

IAG Cargo is set to operate Iberia’s first converted A330 ‘preighter’—a wide-body aircraft with all seats removed to make room for cargo in the passenger cabin.  The new service will commence four times a week between Los Angeles and Madrid and provides much needed capacity ahead of the peak season.
