The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight demand in June 2016 showing a rise in freight tonne kilometers (FTK) of 4.3 per cent year-on-year - the fastest pace of growth in 14 months. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) revised its 2016 financial outlook for global air transport industry profits upwards to US$39.4 billion (from $36.3 billion forecast in December 2015).
