ACI Asia-Pacific welcomes new board directors and airports

Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific welcomed three new airport members and five new directors on its board at its 16th regional assembly last 31 March. Air hubs from Australia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia have joined the trade association, whose membership now stands at 120, operating 606 airports in 49 countries and territories. KFIA launches cargo clearance facility

King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) officially unveiled its "Cargo Village". The launch event was presided by His Royal Highness, Prince Saud bin Naif, governor of the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Cargo Village is spread over half a million square metres. Over 70 per cent of goods bound for the Gulf region is destined for the Kingdom.
