The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has launched the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in Myanmar. The introduction of BSP operations will ease the reporting of ticket sales and remittance for participating travel agents and settlement of their sales to airlines. Myanmar’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration has approved an investment of US$70.8 million by in Asian Blue Aviation Co Ltd, a joint venture between Japan’s ANA Holdings and Golden Sky World. Korean Air helps with Myanmar floods
Korean Air is providing relief goods to those affected by the flood in Myanmar with goods delivered to the country including 1,800 litres of water and 500 blankets. The relief goods fom Korean Air were delivered to Myanmar on 2 September, through the carrier's flight KE471.
