Qantas Freight joins Western Sydney International Airport’s New 24-hour cargo precinct
The Qantas Group and Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) have strengthened their strategic partnership, with Qantas Freight signing on as the airport’s first freight airline to operate at its 24-hour Cargo Precinct. Menzies Aviation to open new cargo facilities at Western Sydney International Airport
Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, will open a new facility as part of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) Cargo Precinct in late 2026. Western Sydney runway construction to start next year
Construction of Western Sydney’s runway and taxiways is set to start next year after the contract to build the airfield was awarded following a competitive procurement process, a press release confirmed.
