Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) and China Airlines have renewed the carrier’s cargo handling contract at Frankfurt Airport in advance of the date required – “thus carrying on their trustful partnership of more than 20 years,” the ground handler said.
FCS managing director Andreas Helfer said: “We are very pleased that China Airlines, one of Asia’s leading airlines, has decided to extend its contract with Fraport Cargo Services for providing landside cargo handling services at Frankfurt Airport.
“This advance extension of the handling contract clearly underscores China Airline’s confidence in FCS, especially our high standards for security, quality and service. We will continue to do our utmost to meet the expectations and requirements of our customers in the future.”
Founded in 1959, China Airlines is the largest airline in Taiwan and one of Asia’s leading carriers. Based at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei (TPE), China Airlines operates a modern fleet serving a worldwide network of more than 115 destinations in 29 countries. The only airline flying nonstop from Germany to Taipei, China Airlines will expand to daily service in June 2016.
