Shipments on Air Canada flights can now make their way to the shores of India and Southeast Asia with a new cargo interline agreement between the carrier and Emirates SkyCargo.
The Canadian airline told customers last week that they can now easily find and book interline cargo shipments through Emirates SkyCargo flights, including for services between the Americas and Southeast Asia and India, via key European hubs.
This latest development follows the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in February and builds on the broader strategic commercial partnership between Air Canada and Emirates, which was announced last year. In addition to this latest cargo development, the airlines recently implemented a passenger codeshare agreement which covers 46 destinations across North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa Forwarders can check AirCanadaCargo.com, as well as marketplaces WebCargo, Cargo-One and CargoAI to find out more.
“This strong partnership will continue to evolve in ways that bring tremendous value to the forwarding community, and this is yet another great step in that direction,” said Matthieu Casey, Managing Director, Commercial, at Air Canada Cargo.
