AviusULD, a global leader in the Unit Load Device (ULD) industry, is proud to announce the promotion of Charles Drummond to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1st, 2024. This leadership transition marks a significant step in AviusULD’s strategic journey to further strengthen its position as an innovator and industry leader.
Drummond has been an integral part of AviusULD’s leadership team, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since January 2024. During his tenure as COO, Drummond oversaw the Sales and Business Development, Purchasing, and Plant Management functions, driving operational excellence and seamless integration across the company. His extensive experience in business transformation, operations management, and leadership has been instrumental in the company’s recent growth and success.
Charles Drummond began his career as a Mechatronics Engineer, steadily advancing through various leadership roles in Manufacturing, Logistics and the Cargo Equipment industry. His journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a commitment to innovation, and a dedication to fostering high-performing teams. Under his guidance, AviusULD has achieved significant milestones in operational efficiency and market expansion.

As CEO, Drummond will focus on driving AviusULD’s mission of delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service, building on the positive momentum of recent years. His vision includes expanding AviusULD’s product offerings, enhancing operational capabilities, and deepening the company’s commitment to sustainability in the ULD industry.
Klaus Hofmann, the outgoing CEO, will now concentrate on his responsibilities as Group CEO at CCE Group, where he will continue to steer the broader strategic goals of the company.
