Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), in association with Cargo Service Center (CSC), successfully organised the “Air Cargo Trade Meet 2025” on August 2 at Poppy’s Vista Hotel, Avinashi Road, Tirupur. Taking the lead as a key facilitator of air cargo development in Kerala, CIAL spearheaded the initiative to bring together industry stakeholders for insightful discussions on growth opportunities, with strong support from CSC, India’s premier air cargo handling company backed by over 30 years of experience.
The event brought together distinguished dignitaries, industry leaders, and trade partners for an evening of meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in the air cargo sector. The evening commenced with a warm welcome and registration, followed by a traditional lamp lighting and welcome address.
Key highlights included opening remarks from Mr. Tushar Jani, a floral felicitation ceremony honouring Chief Guest Dr. A. Sakthivel, and a presentation of appreciation plaques to special dignitaries. CSC and CIAL shared presentations outlining their recent initiatives, innovations, and strategic vision for southern India’s air cargo ecosystem.
The trade meet featured a dynamic interactive session that addressed critical trade inquiries, fostered open discussion, and reinforced the shared goal of elevating Kerala and South India as major air cargo hubs. Attendees engaged in valuable networking, with the evening culminating in a convivial cocktail dinner and distribution of mementoes.
In a significant milestone, CSC also proudly announced the launch of its pioneering TURANT app at Cochin International Airport. Developed to provide real-time tracking and complete transparency for Export and Import shipments, TURANT is set to transform cargo handling and ensure end-to-end cargo visibility for global and domestic stakeholders. This expansion marks the next chapter following the successful deployment of TURANT at other major airports, unlocking new levels of operational excellence for the region’s burgeoning logistics sector.
Reflecting on the occasion, CSC’s leadership remarked, “Our enduring partnership with CIAL is built on delivering service excellence, security, and innovation. With initiatives like TURANT and our sustained operational investments, we reinforce our commitment to empowering Kerala’s logistics community and enhancing customer confidence in India’s air cargo infrastructure.”
As the state’s largest cargo terminal now grows its capabilities, CIAL and CSC look forward to driving progress and setting new benchmarks in trade facilitation, technological integration, and customer service.
