TrueNoord, the specialist regional aircraft leasing company, has announced the appointment of Basil Gygax in the role of Sales Director Africa, Middle East & CIS.

A respected industry expert, Gygax joins TrueNoord with a strong background in the regional sector. Most recently holding the position as Head of Customer Finance – EMEA at Embraer, he has also held positions at Credit Suisse and Skyguide, as well as serving as an Air Force Lieutenant in the Swiss Armed Forces from 2014 to 2017.

His colleague Maarten Grift, who previously supported the Africa, Middle East & CIS region, now assumes the position of Sales Director Americas, with Garry Topp moving to the new role of Director Trading within the Company.
