CargoTech announces major 2026 expansion and AI-driven innovations

February 10, 2026 by PLA Editor

The world’s only one-stop-shop when it comes to air cargo specific software and technology expertise, CargoTech, emerges from a strong 2025 and is now building towards an even more solid 2026. Four main strategic priorities are on the agenda, from welcoming more members to developing new products, consolidating business processes, and continuing its core aim of accelerating digitalisation within the air cargo industry – pain-free and to perfection.

CargoTech and its four members’ milestone achievements last year, proved its award title of Air Cargo Technology Solution Provider of the Year 2025, bestowed by Air Cargo Week at the Air Cargo Europe/transport logistic in June 2025. Five new products were launched including Wiremind’s Overbooking Recommendation and Entry Condition Recommendation modules, Rotate’s Fleet & Network and Sales Steering softwares as well as its Demand data product, the pioneering Charter Carrier App by Aerios, and CargoAi’s AgenticAi on its CargoMart platform, where clients can offer services to their customers with the ‘agent’ working alongside human agents.

Accelerating the adoption of AI in air cargo
The latter kicked off a theme that will be pursued in greater depth this year. “2026 will see more product updates and launches with AI capabilities embedded to ensure our customers extract the optimal benefits,” says Cédric Millet, President of CargoTech. “We are planning on delivering 9 new products and services over the course of this year, including new AgentAi functionalities and Rotate’s unique Data Services vertical. Rotate has built a team of core experts in data as well as cargo knowledge, that is quickly able to ascertain how data and information within a customer’s company needs to be structured and subsequently digitised to enable maximum technological support.” Data Services offers a fast, directly implementable solution for AI adoption, whilst CargoTech’s advisory services lay a comprehensive digital adoption framework for a customer’s mid to long-term transformation strategy.

A unique blend of tech and cargo
It is CargoTech’s unique blend of tech and cargo expertise that sets it apart from mainstream software providers. “Our software is developed by cargo people who know the pain points of the industry,” Millet underlines. “Our customers often highlight that cargo is different from the passenger side of the industry, and therefore, you will never find CargoTech taking existing digital solutions and ‘fine-tuning’ them to match air cargo business requirements. Instead, we develop cargo-specific use cases, models, and products that are now used by an increasing number of leading air cargo companies.” To date, CargoTech offers 16 digital solutions and services: 8 SaaS (4 Wiremind, 3 Rotate and 1 Aerios softwares), CargoAi’s Market Place with 5 different products, Rotate’s 2 data products (Demand & Capacity), and consulting services.

CargoTech’s customers include stakeholders from across the air cargo industry: airlines, forwarders, GSAs, GHAs, shippers. 19 international airlines (of which 8 are among the world’s top 20) use CargoTech software. More than 105 airlines and 23,000 forwarders are connected to CargoAi’s Market Place, while over 100 companies rely on Rotate’s market data, including the world’s largest cargo airline, forwarder, integrator, GSSAs, and leading shippers. “We will continue to accelerate our Business Development in 2026, and support new customers in their digital transformation journey,” Millet confirms.

Efficient operations and expansion
The CargoTech team has grown to more than 120 staff members since it began in 2022, and 2026 will see the establishment of a technology centre of excellence in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur, in a move to centralise Accounting, Finance, Legal and Communications processes, and accelerate synergy across CargoTech’s member headquarters. “This technology centre of excellence in Kuala Lumpur will serve as a secondary hub for hiring software and digital talents to accelerate product development and enhance customer support. It will complement our member’s headquarters around the globe (Wiremind in Paris, CargoAi in Singapore, and Aerios in London), and offer improved client coverage across time zones,” Millet explains. He envisages CargoTech Kuala Lumpur as a closed loop co-working environment, offering staff from other locations the opportunity to spend a few weeks or months working out of the Malaysian office with the benefit of getting to know other CargoTech colleagues and exchanging cargo business knowledge.

And if you are looking to join CargoTech
“CargoTech constantly is on the lookout to invest or partner with technology companies serving the air cargo industry. We want to expand our One Stop Shop centre for our clients’ needs, and our philosophy still lies in solving the air cargo value chain problems. We have only touched the surface, and the coming years will see more players willing to collaborate and innovate on topics of digitisation, AI adoption, transparency, traceability, safety, operational efficiency and compliance,” Cédric Millet, President of CargoTech, predicts. At least two new members are already in the pipeline for 2026, with services and expertise that complement and enhance the existing knowledge pool.
