CEVA Logistics and Watsons Thailand announced the extension of their long‑standing logistics relationship to accelerate the adoption of additional electric vehicles (EVs) to support low-carbon retail supply chains across Thailand. This EV fleet expansion reflects both companies’ commitment to achieving net‑zero emissions by 2050, in alignment with global and national sustainability expectations.
Watsons Thailand, the country’s leading health, beauty and pharmacy retailer, continues to advance its decarbonization roadmap across its supply chain and logistics operations. To support this strategy, CEVA Logistics is integrating electric vehicles into Watsons’ distribution network and providing real‑time tracking and mileage insights, providing Watsons with valuable data to monitor progress toward its decarbonization goals.
Under the new contract, CEVA will support Watsons in the adoption of a total of 11 electric vehicles dedicated to Watsons Thailand’s operations for the Greater Bangkok area. The EV enables an estimated annual avoidance of approximately 125,820 kilograms of CO₂ emissions per year compared to traditional diesel vehicles, directly supporting Watsons Thailand’s Scope 1 and 2 decarbonization goals.
Since November 2025, CEVA has been managing Watsons Thailand’s high‑frequency distribution, navigating fluctuating store volumes and stringent delivery windows across Thailand. Through a customised and agile transport model and its Ground Command Centre, CEVA delivers a 99 percent on‑time performance backed by strong operational planning, real‑time visibility and high data accuracy, ensuring consistent product availability across Watsons’ retail footprint. This data‑driven approach empowers Watsons to monitor progress against its sustainability targets and reinforces transparency across the supply chain.
Nuanphan Jayanama, Managing Director, Watsons Thailand, said: “At Watsons Thailand, sustainability is part of how we create a better everyday experience for our customers and communities. Transitioning to electric vehicles is a key step in our sustainability roadmap, and CEVA’s expertise enables us to maintain reliable delivery while making strong progress toward reducing our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50.4 percent by 2030.”
Sutanai Hemsrichart, Ground & Rail Director, Thailand, CEVA Logistics, said: “Our collaboration with Watsons Thailand is rooted in a united vision for environmental progress, and we are proud to support their shift toward electric vehicle operations. As we continue advancing more efficient transport solutions, CEVA remains committed to driving decarbonization and promoting low-carbon ground logistics across Thailand.”
