HAECO, a leading global aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider, and China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly establish a strategic framework to develop an engine lifecycle support platform in Hong Kong.
The MoU marks a significant milestone in the two companies’ shared commitment to contributing to the continued development of Hong Kong as a leading international aviation hub through closer collaboration in high-value-added aviation services.
Under the agreement, HAECO and CALC will explore the development of an engine quick-turn platform in Hong Kong, with an initial focus on quick-turn services, hospital repair and engine asset management. The collaboration will also seek to optimise the utilisation of used serviceable materials (USM) and enhance value across the aircraft lifecycle.
Combining HAECO’s world-class MRO expertise with CALC’s aircraft asset management capabilities and commercial support, the partnership will strengthen regional aviation support capabilities while fostering innovation and enhancing supply chain resilience.
