The first A320neo to fly has landed back at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport France at 02:22 pm local time after successfully completing its first flight which lasted around two and a half hours. The aircraft – carrying the registration F-WNEO – was flown by Airbus Experimental Test Pilots Philippe Pellerin and Etienne Miche de Malleray. Ethiopian places US$2.1B order for B737
Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines announced an order for 20 B737 MAX 8s. The order, previously unidentified on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website, is worth more than US$2.1 billion at list prices and also includes options and purchase rights for a further 15 B737 MAX 8s. Boeing will open its first Cyber Analytics Centre outside the US in Singapore to bring advanced cybersecurity capabilities and services to customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Swiftair orders eight AEI B737-400SF conversions
Swiftair has selected Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) to provide eight B737-400SF passenger to freighter conversions. The contract calls for four firm orders plus an additional four options. The first aircraft, built in 1991 (MSN 24438) is a high gross weight B737-400 and is currently being modified at Commercial Jet in Miami, Florida, which is an authorised AEI Conversion Center.
