Boeing projects a demand in China for 6,020 new aircrafts over the next 20 years, valued at US$870 billion. Azerbaijan-based cargo carrier Silk Way has taken delivery of its two new Boeing 747-8 freighters. The two aircrafts were delivered last week. Preliminary traffic figures for the month of July released today by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) show continued growth in both air freight demand and international passengers. BOC Aviation ordered 50 737 MAX 8s, 30 next-generation 737-800s and two 777-300ERs (extended range) from Boeing.
