Lufthansa Cargo and All Nippon Airways Cargo will launch joint freight services from Europe to Japan on August 3, eight months after they joined forces on the westbound route. IATA to help build new Mexico City airport

SkyLease Cargo applies for HK rights
North Carolina-based SkyLease Cargo has applied to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for exemption authority to operate scheduled cargo (property and mail) flights between the US and Hong Kong via intermediate points and beyond to points in third countries. The carrier said it intends to operate a 2x weekly service from Miami International to Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok via Tokyo Narita and returning via Anchorage Ted Stevens. MASkargo has commenced its twice weekly A330F freighter service to Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is part of its expansion initiatives in the South Asian market. TNT opens new air route to Malta
TNT has launched a new air route between its main European air hub in Liege and Malta. The flight will run five times a week on a B737-400 aircraft, with a stopover in Marseilles on both outbound and inbound journeys.
