India’s Blue Dart Express reported a 17.7 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 27.13 crore for the quarter ended December 2014. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 23.04 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE. Reuters reported that German carmaker BMW and car supplier Bosch would join Deutsche Bahn in two claims for about 2.1 billion euros (US$2.4 billion) in damages from air freight carriers involved in a cartel.
