The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has launched the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in Myanmar. The introduction of BSP operations will ease the reporting of ticket sales and remittance for participating travel agents and settlement of their sales to airlines. Preliminary traffic figures for the month of July released by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) showed that international air passenger demand continued to grow moderately, supported by business and leisure related travel.
