In a surprise move, Cargolux CEO Dirk Reich has stepped down citing personal reasons, two years after his appointment at the all cargo carrier. According to the Luxemburger Wort newspaper the news emerged Wednesday evening that Reich would leave with immediate effect, after "losing support”, the newspaper said without elaborating. Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd (MAG) has appointed Peter Bellew as the new group managing director and CEO of Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) in place of Christoph Mueller who resigned unexpectedly after serving about half his three-year term. Bellew, who is currently the chief operating officer, begins his term from tomorrow, 1 July. Lufthansa Cargo and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have announced a further integration of their services from 12 July, as part of their cooperation agreement signed in late 2014 and gradually extended. Egyptian National carrier EgyptAir Cargo has chosen FlyUs as it cargo GSSA across Benelux. Effective June 2016 the Dutch-headquartered company will be responsible for freight on the North African carrier’s daily services ex-Amsterdam and four-times weekly service from Brussels. American Airlines Cargo launches direct belly capacity to Auckland
American Airlines Cargo has launched a daily nonstop service between its Los Angeles (LAX) gateway hub and Auckland, New Zealand (AKL).
