Hong Kong Air Terminals Limited (HACTL), forwarder DB Schenker and Emirates coordinated the transport of 62 horses for the Longines Hong Kong Masters, moving them from Liege to Hong Kong. Cathay gives Kolkata its second freighter service
Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new service to Kolkata, India, commencing 11 March 2015. Cathay Pacific will become the only carrier providing direct freighter services between Kolkata and Hong Kong. The scheduled service will operate twice a week on a HK-New Delhi-Kolkata-HK routing. Stephen Kavanagh named new Aer Lingus CEO
Aer Lingus has appointed Stephen Kavanagh as its chief executive. He joins the airline at a time when IAG, the British Airways owners, is looking to buy Aer Lingus in a US$1.6 billion deal.
