IAG Cargo earns GDP cool chain cert
British Airways and Iberia’s cargo division IAG has become the first airline to be awarded accreditation under new EU Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelines. Cathay, Dragonair cargo volume up 12% in Nov
Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair combined carried 165,102 tonnes of cargo and mail in November, an increase of 12 per cent compared to the same month last year. The cargo and mail load factor rose by 4.7 percentage points to 68.4 per cent. Capacity, measured in available cargo/mail tonne kilometres, was up 5.3 per cent while cargo and mail revenue tonne kilometres (RTKs) flown surged by 13.1 per cent.
