Swiss WorldCargo to test drone deliveries
Drones will soon be used to deliver packages in Switzerland as part of a pilot project by Swiss Post. Tests are already underway in the US in a collaboration with Swiss WorldCargo, using drones by California manufacturer Matternet, a firm primarily focused on developing airborne options for health care in developing countries. PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has redelivered its latest B737-300F (MSN28158) to Beijing-based China Postal Airlines EMS (CPA), the fourth passenger-to-freighter conversion under the current five-aircraft agreement.
