Saudi Airlines Cargo has announced that it will increase its belly capacity on new international routes through the commencement of Saudia Arabian Airlines' passenger flights to Manchester and Los Angeles as of 1 April, thus offering new cargo opportunities to these destinations. The HK$5.9 billion (US$720 million) Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal at Hong Kong International Airport, which began operations in February last year and became fully operational in October, has been officially opened. Amazon hopes to deliver packages using drones
While more commonly associated with covert operations by military types, the drones could be delivering e-commerce packages as soon as 2015.
