DHL invests in key Kenya gateway facility
DHL announced that it is investing over three million Ksh (US$45,000) to upgrade DHL Express Kenya’s Gateway facility located at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi. Private courier companies in China hike rates
A number of Chinese private courier companies have increased the prices of their express delivery services by between one to two yuan (US$0.15-$0.30) per kilogramme to meet increases in oil prices and higher labour costs, according to the China Daily. United Parcel Service to hike rates 5%
Express delivery company UPS has said that it plans to raise air and ground freight rates by an average 4.9 per cent in 2010.
