UPS tops up order for Boeing’s 767 freighters
American logistics integrator UPS has placed an order for eight more 767 freighters from Boeing as the integrator looks to modernize its fleet in view of efficiency, sustainability and reliability. The incremental order will increase the carrier’s fleet of 767 freighters to 108, along with 238 Boeing heritage freighters like the 747, 757, 767 and MD-11. DHL Express has welcomed the arrival of its new 102-tonne-capable Boeing 777 freighter at Changi Airport in Singapore, sporting a dual DHL-Singapore Airlines (SIA) livery to indicate a partnership with the flag carrier. FedEx Express announced last week it has signed an agreement with Guangdong Airport Authority Logistics Company to expand and upgrade the FedEx Guangzhou Gateway by establishing a new operations center at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
