Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new service to Kolkata, India, commencing 11 March 2015. Lufthansa Cargo has taken delivery of its fifth and final Boeing 777F freighter aircraft. D-ALFE landed in Frankfurt for the first time on 12 February on its delivery flight from Everett near Seattle. DHL will invest EUR 114 million (approx. US$129 million) in the construction of a new hub at Brussels Airport. The new hub is expected to triple capacity from 12,000 to 39,500 shipments per hour. IAG Cargo joins all-in pricing bandwagon
IAG Cargo is joining other carriers such as Emirates SkyCargo, Qatar Airways and SAS Cargo in rolling up fuel surcharges into an all-in rate. IAG will drop its fuel surcharges (FSC), effective with the start of the Summer season.
