Malaysian aviation is back in the news, this time for introducing a new airline, "flymojo". DHL Express plans Mumbai air cargo facility
DHL Express is planning to open an air cargo terminal in Mumbai, with further India growth planned. The company already has two similar facilities at Delhi and Bengaluru airports. Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Post will expand delivery areas for Cool EMS Service to France from 1 April 2015, in addition to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. Meanwhile, the number of post offices available for Cool EMS Service will be increased from 25 to 78 across Japan. SIA Cargo sees improving cargo traffic
Singapore Airlines (SIA) Cargo has reported a 5.2 per cent growth in overall cargo load factor (CLF) in February, year-on-year, as cargo traffic (measured in freight-tonne-kilometres) was 17.1 per cent higher against an overall capacity increase of 7.6 per cent. Total freight carried for the month rose 14.7 per cent y-o-y to 84,800 tonnes.
